Carne Bollente Collects Kinks on the Road for SS23

It’s giving ‘Brokeback Mountain.’

Paris-based brand Carne Bollente is dreaming of spontaneous and sexy adventures for Spring/Summer 2023, imagining the rendezvous we might find ourselves in during the warmer season.

The campaign pays homage to the ’90s carefree spirit as models hold signs, reading “Peace Is Cheaper” and “Make Love Not War,” while the collection takes inspiration from roadside memories and kitschy souvenirs, outfitting its muses in cheeky “I Love Paris” T-shirts, designed by artist Camille Potte. Elsewhere, the classic American iconography of the lone cowboy comes out to play as the steely character finds himself on a journey of self-discovery, unearthing his real sexual desires. Muscled men save one another from drowning on a neon orange top, depicting a romantic scene at “Carne Beach,” whereas a similarly coy shirt reads, “Lick Me Til Ice Cream.”

Meanwhile, a breezy shirt and short sets are decorate with swirly graphics, while sweatpants are adorned with nautical motifs. Sunbathing lads are woven into sand-colored knit polos and paired with cream trousers, flaunting subtle detailing along the pockets. Elsewhere, two canoodling horses caress one another on the back of a navy jacket, while a peaceful yin and yang side sits on the calf of matching trousers.

Take a look at Carne Bollente’s SS23 collection in the gallery above.
