CLOT's Third and Final Nike "CLOTEZ" Collab Goes Back to Basics

Paying tribute to an OG colorway.

CLOT is back with its third Nike “CLOTEZ” collaboration, first teased on Instagram by founder Edison Chen.

Sticking to the collab’s functional and futuristic roots, the three-in-one shoe follows its previous “Black/White” and “Yellow/Black” colorways with a contemporary take on the Cortez’s first-ever colorway. Arriving in original red, white and blue tones — reminiscent of the OG Cortez which debuted back in 1972 — the updated sneaker marks the third and final piece in the collection.

An evolution of the Kung Fu inspiration, the final sneaker boasts a two-piece build that can be separated and put back together. Crafted with a white leather upper and red suede Swooshes, the soleless sneaker features Nike-branded tongues and heel tabs complete with Chinese “Kung Fu” characters.

A removable white nylon cover adds to the shoe’s functionality, complete with semi-visible blue logos and speckled ropes on its back side. Elsewhere, the CLOTEZ features yin-yang toggles to allow for the perfect fit.

Take a look at the final CLOT x Nike “CLOTEZ” above, and head to JUICE to cop a pair on April 7, priced at $140 USD.

In other sneaker news, adidas and Gucci’s FW23 footwear has an official release date.
