Copenhagen’s GANNI and New York-based Vietnamese designer Kim Nguyen of Nguyen Inc revealed an exclusive collaboration during New York Fashion Week. The 6-piece collection merges creative worlds and emphasizes responsible design.

GANNI and Kim previously collaborated in 2021 and 2022, creating limited-edition upcycled t-shirts with corset-style fits. GANNI also proudly supported Nguyen Inc’s debut collection at New York Fashion Week the preceding year by incorporating its iconic cowboy boots into the show.

The new limited-edition collaboration celebrates cultural exchange. The partnership has revisited some of GANNI’s classic hits, with Nguyen reworking these icons using leftover fabrics from previous seasons, such as striped patterns and wool.

Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director at GANNI, shared: “I am so excited to be collaborating with Kim again. Kim and I share a love for collaboration and I adore her energy, her approach to creative processes and her passion for finding more responsible ways to design. Being able to champion emerging women designers like Kim is what our GANNI community is all about.”

The collection is now available in US GANNI stores and on GANNI’s website, prices range from $145 to $375 USD.
