Kiko Kostadinov‘s ongoing partnership with ASICS is the gift that keeps on giving, regularly dropping killer new colorways and unexpected combinations. Now reaching its seventh year, the latest release sees the London-based label reinventing the ASICS GEL-DS Trainer with four eclectic colorways.
Starting with a blend of blue and green hues, the “Waterfall/Lichen Rock” colorway boasts a mixed material upper with hits of apple green and bright blue and is probably the brightest colorway yet, followed closely by “Dark Mustard/Truffle Grey.” For the more subdued among us, darker iterations like the “Desert Camp/Piquant Orange” and “Midnight/Purple Oxide” colorways are your best bet.
Crafted from a blend of synthetic fibers with mixed mesh and rubber finishings, each shoe boasts a vibrant mix of woven and ribbed textures. Adding an extra hint of intrigue is the sneaker’s unique lace stay, which arrives as an asymmetrical loop beyond the shoe’s tongue.
