Converse Heels and KFC: Welcome to Sinead Gorey FW25
Where last night’s walk of shame becomes today’s fire fit.
We’ve all been there — the morning after a wild night, still wrapped in yesterday’s clothes and smudged makeup, trying to piece together the events of the evening.
That unmistakable feeling is exactly what Sinead Gorey captures in her Fall/Winter 2025 runway show. This collection isn’t so much carefully curated as it is effortlessly thrown together, embodying the spirit of a woman who’s grown up, embraced responsibilities but refuses to let go of her love for a spontaneous night out — even on a work night. Let’s be honest, nobody stops at “just one drink.”
“I’ve been looking at myself and what I would wear,” shares Gorey in the press release. “It’s a reflection of the stage I’m at in my life, mixing elements from Sinead Gorey — the brand and Sinead Gorey, the person.”

The runway was a collision of office essentials and after-hours rebellion, where structured staples met unapologetic party energy. Baby Mac jackets, knife-pleat minis, bubble-gum pink maxi skirts and sharply tailored bouclé blazers made an appearance — all polished, yet effortlessly undone. Elsewhere, leather bustier dresses paired with playful seamless-knit bodysuits, while digitally printed separates carried the signs of a night well spent — lipstick-stained napkin notes and discarded makeup wipes included. The designer left no detail untouched — even a box of KFC in hand because what else cures a hangover faster?
No matter how wild the night gets, the Gorey girl stays true to her roots. Converse sneakers remain a wardrobe staple, though this season, the shoes take on a new form. The footwear brand’s classic knee-high Chuck Taylors are reimagined with heels, spikes and studded embellishments.
