LONDI Wants You to Award Yourself
In its latest collection inspired by a competition rosette.
Forget the podium, LONDI thinks you deserve the prize anyway. For its latest collection, “Self-Awarded,” the Ukrainian loungewear label takes the traditional award rosette and gives it a new life in lingerie, turning a symbol of competition into one of self-recognition.
The collection plays with the familiar details of medals and ribbons, translating them into the clothes themselves. Bra cut-outs mimic the shape of a rosette, bows sit where medals would usually land and ribbon tails replace traditional straps, making the award feel less like something to win and more like something that already belongs to you.
That idea runs through a mix of statement lingerie and loungewear, from a sculptural double bra finished with ruffles to rosette-adorned tangas, openwork pieces and seamless underwear. Elsewhere, hoodies, ruched tops and wide-waisted pants bring the concept outside the bedroom.
Rather than dressing for an audience or chasing someone else’s idea of success, “Self-Awarded” is built around the idea that there’s no competition in the first place. No ranking, no judging, no finish line, just getting dressed on your own terms.
In other words, LONDI isn’t waiting for someone else to hand you the award. It’s already yours. The collection drops September 23 via the brand’s website.
