The Best Sneakers From Chanel's Pre-Fall 2018 and Métiers d'Art Collections
Consider us obsessed.
Chanel might be famously known for its classic handbags and exquisitely-made tweed jackets, but its sneaker collection is also one to watch. The Parisian fashion house’s neon-colored Pre-Spring 2018 kicks as well as its PVC-filled Spring/Summer 2018 offering have both stolen hearts of fashion enthusiasts, and are arguably among the most-loved luxury sneakers of the season.
While most of us are still enjoying the summer heat at the moment, Chanel has recently launched a bunch of new sneaker styles from its Pre-Fall 2018 range as well as its Métiers d’Art collection. Constructed with winter-ready materials such as calfskin, suede and velvet, these low-cut and high-top designs are the perfect, luxe footwear for the colder months ahead. In particular, a sporty silhouette emblazoned with Chanel’s spelled-out logo on the side panel brings to mind the brand’s Hu NMD collaboration launched with Pharrell Williams and adidas Originals last November. Available in black and a soft pink colorway, this pair is a must-have for anyone who enjoys the athleisure style trend. Scroll through the gallery above to see our favorite designs from the new collections.
Retailing between $900 USD and $1,025 USD, the sneakers can be purchased in-store at select Chanel locations.
While you’re at it, take a look at the brand’s newly-revealed Pre-Fall 2018 brochure, as well as some of the best looks from its Fall 2018 Couture runway show. Most recently, Chanel has also announced Oscar-winning actress Penélope Cruz as the brand’s latest ambassador. She’ll be the face of the upcoming Cruise 2019 campaign lensed by Karl Lagerfeld himself.
