The PUMA Basket Is Reimagined by Your Favorite K-Pop Boy Band BTS
Here’s when you can get your hands on a pair.
PUMA has continued its partnership with South Korea‘s buzziest boy band at the moment, BTS, by collaborating with the seven-member group on a special-edition Basket silhouette.
Modelled by the singer-dancers themselves in the campaign image above, the low-top sneaker is constructed with a predominantly white leather upper, which is accented by hits of gold and black. Apart from a contrasting PUMA formstrip on the side panel, the lifestyle shoe sees a floral motif designed by BTS on the tongue tab, heel counter, insole as well as the translucent outsole. As a final detail, the group’s debut date, June 13, 2016, is stamped in metallic gold close to the heel.
“We are very happy to grow with BTS and hope to roll-out meaningful campaigns with them in the future just like we have been doing for the last four years,” says Adam Petrick, Global Director for Brand Marketing.
The BTS x PUMA Basket will be available internationally beginning September 1 at PUMA flagships and at select stockists for $114 USD.
