Maison Margiela's Chunky Sneaker Just Got Turned Into a Loafer
The perfect summer shoe.
Last year, Maison Margiela debuted its chunky Retro Fit sneakers in a range of silhouettes and colors. This time around, the label is putting a new twist on the signature shoe, giving it a loafer makeover.
Arriving with a white leather upper sporting a classic loafer design with two tassels a top the shoe, the sneaker sees a silver panelling across the laterals, and is finished off with the silhouette’s chunky rubber sole in white. The new shoe merges luxury with street perfectly, and captures Maison Margiela’s love for experimentation.
