Chicago bred singer-songwriter Njomza is up next. For the past few years, she has been solidifying her sound which features hints of the sonics and neo-soul beats directly found in ’90s R&B. Her deep cuts focus heavily on love and heartache.
The current Since The 80s/Motown signee was originally discovered and signed to Mac Miller‘s ReMeMber Music label. Her most recent highlights, in her career were co-writing her friend Ariana Grande‘s hit singles “thank u, next” and “7 Rings.” Njomza now emerges to release her latest music video for her single “Me & You.”
The clip features the songstress on the set of a show that features different dating scenarios as she spins a wheel to win a dream date spot. The lyrics shed light on a love that is intoxicating. Throughout the video, she is shown in a variety of different hairstyles and outfits to fit the mood of each date location.
Njomza shared the premise behind the video with us:
“I made it thinking about how somebody can be your own personal vacation & vice versa. It’s about getting lost in the love.”
