Bottega Veneta's FW20 Sunglasses Are About to Become Fashion's Next "It" Item
The oversized shades are finally available to order.
Throughout his tenure at Bottega Veneta, designer Daniel Lee has proven an uncanny ability to whip up fashion’s most coveted items, from the slouchy Pouch bag to the woven Lido mule. Lee’s next accessory destined for stardom? The Original sunglasses, which made their buzzy debut at Bottega Veneta’s Fall/Winter 2020 runway show back in February.
Finally available to purchase, the oversized shades arrive in four colorways: pastel “Yellow,” a shocking yellow-green “Kiwi,” blush “Pink” and muted “Matt Black Grey Blue.” Oval lenses are complemented by two options for frames: triangular frames or subtler, curved frames. Both styles wrap around the temple, giving the glasses a futuristic feel. Raised stripes at both the left and right sides add understated branding to the two models.
