UPDATE: BAPE Teases Pieces From Upcoming Coach Collaboration

Including a leather monogram puffer.

UPDATE (February 12, 2020): Though Coach‘s Fall/Winter 2020 show at New York Fashion Week didn’t provide an on-the-runway look at its upcoming collaboration with BAPE, the Japanese streetwear brand teased select items from the collection on Instagram. Worn by Quincy Brown and Koki, the pieces are printed with a special monogram combining BAPE’s gorilla with Coach’s repeating C print. A leather puffer and pocketbook boast the collaborative monogram, and a photo of Brown posing with a giant Baby Milo stuffed animal suggests the character will make an appearance in the collection.

Stay tuned for the official BAPE x Coach collection release date.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 7, 2020): An unlikely pairing, streetwear brand BAPE and accessories giant Coach are teaming up a collaborative collection. BAPE announced the news on Instagram with a video revealing the mash-up of the brand’s gorilla logo with Coach’s monogram. “COMING SOON,” the caption reads.

The collaboration will likely debut at Coach’s upcoming New York Fashion Week show, set to take place on February 11. BAPE recently worked with J Balvin on a capsule featuring updated versions of the brand’s popular Baby Milo character.

Stay tuned for the official drop of the BAPE x Coach collection, as well as pricing information. In related news, Coach joined 32 brands in signing a sustainability pact, aimed at reducing the fashion industry’s environmental impact.
