Acne Studios Introduces Its Latest Sneaker Silhouette, N3W

Arriving in five colorways.

After unveiling its campaign for the Spring/Summer 2020 season, Acne Studios has now unveiled a new sneaker design for the warmer months. Dubbed N3W, the latest silhouette is an evolution of the brand’s Manhattan sneaker.

“N3W has the look and feel of a technical sneaker yet it’s grounded in the Acne Studios aesthetic,” creative director Jonny Johansson revealed in a press release. “We started looking at running shoes from the 1990s and early 2000s, but realized that we could have something completely new by simply redesigning one of our classics.”

As mentioned by the designer, the N3W is a flattened, sharp take on the bulky Manhattan silhouette. Crafted for men and women, it’s an ultra-light design arriving with a semi-transparent ripstop and lightweight rubber sole. Materials such as faux suede and mesh add to the sleek shape, which is finished off with an Acne Studios logo pull tab at the heel. The shoes are available in five colorways including tonal ivory, black and gold iterations, as well as versions sporting highlights of yellow and pink.

Take a closer look at Acne Studio’s N3W sneakers in the gallery below. The shoes are available now over at the Swedish label’s online store for $410 USD each.
