Nike Updates Daybreak in Statement Corduroy Colorways
With a speckled outsole.
The Nike Daybreak, a low-top running shoe originally introduced in 1979, has arrived in “Sail,” a mix of soft pastel shades, and “Desert Berry,” a darker pink-orange combination.
Constructed of a white corduroy upper, “Sail” is overlaid with matching corduroy paneling in a variety of spring-ready hues. The toe is accented with light pink while the heel gets dressed in muted green, and Nike’s iconic Swoosh in baby blue is placed at the lateral and medial. The eyestays are rendered in yellow and lastly, the tongue is stitched with a pink logo label. A white midsole is topped off with a multicolor, speckled outsole.
A second colorway, “Desert Berry,” is a more saturated iteration of the shoe featuring a pink upper, orange Swoosh and mint green toe. A purple heel and lighter pink eyestay complete the eye-catching style.
The Nike Daybreak “Sail” and “Desert Berry” retail for approximately $113 USD and launches on April 22 at Nike’s Chinese website.
