Gigi Hadid, Serena Williams and More to Livestream 'Mario Tennis' Tournament

Newly launched platform Facebook Gaming will host a celebrity Mario Tennis Aces tournament pairing up celebrities with tennis champions for a series of livestreamed matches. Duos include Gigi Hadid and Serena Williams, Hailey Bieber and Naomi Osaka, and Karlie Kloss and Maria Sharapova, who announced her retirement back in February. All competitors will receive $25,000 USD to donate to their charity of choice. Raising the stakes, the winner of the tournament will be awarded an additional $1 million USD donation.

Presented in partnership with talent agency IMG, the livestream will see celebrity avatars face off alongside live feeds of each contestant playing the video game on Nintendo Switch.

The Facebook Gaming “Stay at Home Slam” livestream begins on May 3 at 4 p.m. EST on Facebook Gaming and the IMG Tennis Facebook page.
