Takashi Murakami Teams up With J Balvin for His Latest Collaborative Drop

Featuring graphic, colorful tees and hoodies.

Following his previous collection with Drake‘s brand OVO, Takashi Murakami has now unveiled an unexpected collaboration with Grammy-winning Colombian singer, J Balvin. Fusing elements of music with fashion, the range includes a selection of garments such as hoodies and T-shirts available in bright hues of purple, as well as basic colorways like black and white. The pieces feature the Japanese artist’s iconic smiley sunflowers, while selective tees sport the words “Blanco” and “Moradu” at the front. Take a look at the items in the lookbook above.

The J Balvin x Takashi Murakami collaboration is now available in Hong Kong at Joyce‘s stores located in Central, Pacific Place and Harbour City, as well as on Cherry Fukuoka’s website. In case you missed it, peep the Takashi Murakami x PORTER range here.
