Jordan Brand's Three New Collections Boast Functionality and Soul
Featuring elevated utility-driven staples.
Following its women’s “Moto” collection back in April, Jordan Brand is set to drop three new capsules this fall. Dubbed “City Utility,” “Flight Essentials” and “Jordan 23 Engineered,” the collections boast elevated utility-driven staples inspired by classic ’80s basketball design.
“Throughout its history, Jordan Brand has delivered the unexpected through a balance of performance and romance,” said Martin Lotti, Jordan Brand VP of Design, in a press release. “These new collections offer utilitarian performance infused with a basketball soul, and created through a refined articulation of classic basketball design lines.”
Leading the women’s “City Utility” range is the Flight Suit and Utility Pant. Both are made out of lightweight fabric and come in an adjustable fit. Additional garments in the line include the Jordan Utility Off-Shoulder Jacket, Jordan Utility Bike Shorts and fleece offerings. As for “Flight Essentials,” the line consists of crew necks, tights, sports bras, tracksuits and T-Shirts, as well as the Jordan Zoom 92 sneaker. Finally, the “Jordan 23 Engineered” features gender-neutral apparel incorporated with technical materials and translucent Air-inspired trims.
Take a closer look at all the items in the gallery above. The “Jordan 23 Engineered” collection is now available now via Jordan Brand’s website. The “City Utility” range will drop on July 24, while the “Flight Essentials” capsule will release on August 20.
