IKEA Opens First "Mini" Store in Queens, New York
Optimized for small-space living in the city.
Swedish homeware giant IKEA has opened a new store in Queens, New York at the Rego Center shopping mall. Measuring at 115,000 square-feet, the shop is smaller than most. In fact, its Queens outpost is the company’s first U.S. store to feature a “smaller-format” concept. The Rego Center location will offer IKEA’s full range of products and furniture sets, optimized for New Yorkers’ notoriously small apartments.
IKEA Queens offers in-store shopping (with health measures such as temperature checks and capacity limits in place), as well as home delivery for a flat rate of $49 USD anywhere in New York City. Shoppers can also schedule home planning appointments at the location. Situated just one block away from a range of public transportation options including the M and R subway lines as well as the Q59 and Q60 bus, IKEA Queens is strategically located for convenient access.
IKEA Queens is open at Rego Center from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST daily. Head to the IKEA website to learn more about the new store.
