These Birkenstock Sandals Are Made From Destroyed Hermès Birkin Bags
Any guesses on how much one pair costs?
Featuring its own take on Birkenstock‘s Arizona sandals, Brooklyn-based label MSCHF has returned with another customized footwear style. Made out of authentic destroyed Hermès Birkin Bags, the silhouette is available in black, white and maroon. Each design’s price point varies depending on the model used to make the piece.
Back in 2019, MSCHF dropped its own version of the Nike Air Max 97 dubbed the “Jesus Shoes,” which went viral overnight and became the seventh most searched silhouette that year. Now, with its follow-up product finally here, will the sandals live up to the hype of the AM97s?
Take a closer look at the different iterations of the Birkenstocks in the gallery below. Ranging from $34,000 to $76,000 USD, MSCHF’s Birkenstock sandals are now available to purchase online.
