Louis Vuitton Unveils LV Archlight Sneaker Campaign

Louis Vuitton has just revealed a closer look at its updated LV Archlight 2.0, paying homage to the iconic sneaker for its fifth anniversary.
Starring Jaden Smith, Chloë Grace and Chinese soccer player Sam Li, the campaign showcases the avant-garde silhouette, reimagined in a swath of exciting fabrics. Rustic raffia, guipure lace and an experimental rubber platform outsole all make an appearance, adding to the already intriguing accessory. Initially launched in 2018, the LV Archlight features an oversized tongue and curved rubber sole, resulting in a elevated shape — literally and figuratively.
Taking inspiration from a myriad of footwear designs, the sneaker is a hybrid of moccasins, high boots, as well as desert boots, evoking a slightly rugged aesthetic. The French luxury brand leans into this pastoral approach, picturing the shoe in a variety of environments, suggesting a superior sense of versatility.
