From Doechii and JT’s performance at Dsquared2 to K-Way’s showcase at Museo della Permanente.

We’re back in Italy‘s fashion capital for Milan Fashion Week’Fall/Winter 2025 circuit. Two days in and we’ve already seen an impressive array of luxury craftsmanship, live performances and collaborative collections. Dsquared2 presented on MFW’s opening night with a surprise appearance from Grammy Award winning rapper Doechii and City Girls’s JT. K-Way celebrated its 60th anniversary and unveiled a capsule collaboration with Paris-based label CAHU. Meanwhile, Gucci‘s design team stepped up to the plate after Sabato De Sarno‘s departure to deliver a retro-meets-now FW25 collection.

Victoria Monét, YUQI, Mia Khalifa and Sarah Jessica Parker are in town, attending shows and adding an extra layer of star-studded vivacity to the week’s events. We’re looking forward to more to come and will have our eyes pealed for David Koma‘s first collection with Blumarine, Susan Fang‘s collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana and whatever viral runway moment will come from AVAVAV.

Read on for our recap of MFW FW25 so far and stay tuned for updates.

Gucci’s Design Team Show

Milan Fashion Week, FW25, Recap, First Looks, Runway, Doechii, Dsqaured2, Gucci, K-Way As the first collection since the departure of Sabato De Sarno, Gucci’s internal design team took the reins to unveil its FW25 collection. The co-ed showcase leaned heavily on a glistening ’80s revival, an evolution of the brand’s SS25 which was an ode to the ’60s. Neon green, deep purple and pale pink were plastered onto unassuming lace and silk dresses. Brown tweed was paired with plum tights and mint handbags. Elsewhere, fur outerwear draped over thin, mid-length dresses and camel, collared shirts. While Gucci is yet to announce its new creative director, all eyes will be on the brand and whose hands it will be placed in.

From lightweight shells to voluminous puffer jackets, outerwear took centre stage in all shapes and sizes. Elsewhere, soft knitwear, tailored cargo pants and Scuba dresses offered a contemporary yet functional approach and a capsule collaboration with CAHU introduced PVC and nylon bags. The showcase was attended by Ed Westwick, Pixie Geldof and Cora Corré.
