Jessie Reyez Pays Homage to Her Hometown in "Before Love Came To Kill Us" Music Video
Watch the R&B songstress cruise through the 6 in her latest visual here.
Following her cameo with 070 Shake in Beyoncé‘s Black Is King visual album during the song “SCAR,” Jessie Reyez has dropped a new music video of her track “Before Love Came to Kill Us” from her latest project, Before Love Came to Kill Us. Directed by Claire Edmondson, the visual starts off with the Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter surrounded by roses and transitions to her cruising around her hometown, Toronto. Focusing on the concepts of love, longing, hope, second chances, life and death, Reyez sings: “We’re not supposed to/But I can’t learn my lesson/I miss when you were my best friend/Before love came to kill us.”
