beautyblender Unveils Zodiac-Inspired Collection and Sustainable Makeup Sponge
Providing a natural finish thanks to the brand’s one-of-a-kind foam material.
beautyblender has given its signature makeup sponge two new makeovers. The already-available “Zodiac” collection arrives in a hot pink hue, while the upcoming Bio Pure Makeup Sponge comes in an all-green colorway.
The former iteration is made out of the same aqua-activated, skin-mimicking foam as the Original Pink blender. Featuring all 12 signs, the sponges absorb minimal product and ensures a quick application process. As for the latter, the item is the label’s first reusable sponge crafted from its exclusive BioPlush™ foam – a 60 percent plant-based material made of renewable sugarcane. Additionally, the new canister boasts recycled resins, and is produced with less water waste and reduced carbon dioxide emissions.
Each sponge from the “Zodiac” collection retails for $20 USD and is now available via Sephora and beautyblender. The Bio Pure Makeup Sponge will release on February 1 for $20 USD as well.
