YMC Takes Inspiration From Witchcraft and Wood Folk for SS21
Floral and paisley prints dominate the women’s and men’s offerings.
YMC has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Inspired by the writings of the infamous English occultist Aleister Crowley and the novels of Welsh mystic Arthur Machen, the range features elements of occult, witchcraft and wood folk.
Some of the standouts from the women’s offerings include a ripstop coat and Japanese seersucker boasting a floral print. Taking cues from workwear, garments in the line are made of sturdy and light fabrics such as silk and cotton. Elsewhere, the bomber and parka jacket sport red, double-sided satin, while the nylon trousers and parachute skirt are a modern take on sportswear. In the men’s range, key pieces include the paisley jacquard collarless work jacket, floral print chore jacket and patchwork quilted jacket.
