A Jean Paul Gaultier x sacai x Nike VaporWaffle Collaboration Could Be on the Way

Following up on Chitose Abe’s longtime partnership with the Swoosh brand, images of a potential Jean Paul Gaultier x sacai x Nike VaporWaffle collaboration have surfaced online. While not much is known just yet, the leaked shots provide a first look at the unexpected team-up.
Overall, the sneakers maintain a black-and-white color palette. Abe‘s signature double-stacked details remain on the Swooshes and tongue, as well as the midsole. For a twist, bold contrast stitches are found throughout the leather and suede upper, resembling those on a baseball mitt. Meanwhile, the tongue features co-branded tags with all three of the labels. The design is rounded out with doubled-up black-and-white shoelaces alongside a striped footbed printed with the three logos in black.
