Acne Studios Men's FW21 Collection Is for Dressing Both Up and Down
Roomy blazers are styled with dungarees, while textured prints take over tailored suits.
Following the “Welcome to Stockholm” capsule collection, Jonny Johansson has now presented his Fall/Winter 2021 range for Acne Studios. Reflecting the changing landscape of fashion, the designer has created looks that can be worn both in and out.
“This is a wardrobe that brings together the relaxed silhouette of sports casual with the tailored glamour from my dream of life in a band. It is menswear that is functional and minimal, with humor, sexiness and lightness,” the creative director shares in a press release.
Overall, the color palette is kept neutral and earthy, while various prints and patterns are added for texture. The lookbook opens with a suit and scarf set sporting denim patchwork motifs all over. Tailored jackets and blazers are styled with loose-fitted dungarees for a casual feel, while minimalism is explored on an all-beige outfit featuring an oversized logo scarf.
As for womenswear, knitwear takes center stage in the form of bulky polka-dotted sweaters, which are paired with extra-cozy wool gloves and mittens. To balance out the soft textures, leather is added to the mix on trousers. Rounding out the range are roomy pants that are highlighted with a zip opening at the knees.
