Moschino's New Collection Brings the Street to 'Sesame Street'
Elmo, Cookie Monster and more get dressed in chains, puffer jackets and snapbacks.
Moschino‘s latest collection gives your favorite Sesame Street characters a streetwear makeover. Applying familiar faces from the children’s show to a range of women’s apparel, Jeremy Scott dresses Big Bird, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch and more in gold chains and snapbacks, a tongue-in-cheek reimagining of the PBS program.
Kacey Musgraves models the new pieces, posing against backdrops themed after a selection of favorite characters. Shot in a fuzzy blue room, the singer chomps down on a cookie while wearing a Sesame Street-themed sweatsuit. Channeling Oscar the Grouch, Musgraves models a sweatshirt dress bearing the trash-loving character decked out in a gold necklace that spells “SCRAM!” A third shot places the country-pop artist on giant alphabet blocks, a nod to Elmo, who appears on a T-shirt dress in a North Face-style puffer jacket.
Moschino’s Sesame Street collection drops on May 25 at the Moschino website.
