BTS Wins 'Biggest Fans' Award at 2022 MTV EMAs
This one’s for you, ARMYs.
BTS just won the award for Biggest Fans at the 2022 MTV EMAs, taking the top spot from the likes of BLACKPINK, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift, which is a pretty impressive feat.
The MTV EMAs took place on November 13 in Dusseldorf, with the ceremony playing host to a number of dazzling performances, red carpet appearances and award speeches. Most recently, BLACKPINK took home the award for one of this year’s newest categories, Best Metaverse Performance, an award that BTS was also nominated for.
It’s been a big year for the K-pop band so far, with numerous band members announcing solo careers and member RM recently appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone alongside Pharrell. It was reported earlier this year that the band would be going their separate ways ahead of completing their mandatory military service in South Korea.
