Take a Look Inside Gucci's New Restaurant in Seoul
The fashion house’s third location outside of Italy.
Gucci is opening a new Osteria da Massimo Bottura restaurant in Seoul, Korea, marking the fashion house’s third location outside of Italy following Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and Ginza, Tokyo.
Located on the top floor of the Gucci Gaok flagship store in the Itaewon district, the contemporary restaurant offers a playful take on traditional Italian cuisine. The à la carte menu, which is developed by chef Massimo Bottura, Seoul Executive Chef Jun Hyung-kyu and Head Chef Davide Cardellini, features signature dishes such as the Emilia Burger and Tortellini with Parmigiano Reggiano Cream. Korean influences are incorporated to dishes like Seoul Garden and Summer in Adriatic. Guests will be able to enjoy the food with a variety of drinks including wine and cocktails.
The interior of the restaurant boasts a green palette, with a secret, private dining room hiding behind stained glass doors. Accommodating up to eight guests, the space dubbed Room of Mirrors is decorated with Gucci-branded wallpaper.
