The Weeknd Debuts Horror-Camp Music Video For "In Your Eyes"

Following the release of The Weeknd‘s latest album, After Hours, the Canadian R&B star unveiled a music video for “In Your Eyes,” the tenth song off the 14-track project. The new visual expands the singer’s recent Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas-inspired aesthetic and introduces slasher-inspired overtones as the video’s bloodied protagonist, played by stylist and model Zaina Miuccia, runs from The Weeknd himself.

The Weeknd, whose lesser-known legal name is Abel Tesfaye, eventually stalks Miuccia to a dance club where no one seems to register her pleads for help. Desperate, she takes matters into her own hands and beheads Tesfaye with a pickaxe. The video concludes with shots of Miuccia gleefully dancing with Tesafye’s dismembered head.
