BTS' RM Partners With So!YoON on Single, "Smoke Sprite"
Arriving as part of the singer-songwriter’s solo album titled ‘Episode1: Love.’
So!YoON, vocalist of the band SE SO NEON and one of South Korea‘s most promising musicians today, has joined forces with RM of BTS for a track on her latest solo album titled Episode1: Love.
Titled “Smoke Sprite,” the track is composed and written by both So!YoON and RM. As expected from the teaser video released last week, So!YoON delivers her dreamy yet powerful vocals while RM (real name Kim Namjoon) joins in for a verse.
“Smoke Sprite” marks one of many releases from RM as a solo artist, ever since BTS announced it would go on an indefinite hiatus as each member begins to enlist in the South Korean army. Late last year, he released a solo album titled Indigo and also joined forces with alternative K-pop band Balming Tiger on a single dubbed “SEXY NUKIM.”
Meanwhile, Episode1: Love features Parkjiyoon and Jibin of Y2K92 in addition to RM. The record marks So!YoON’s second full-length album.
