Fyodor Golan
Spring is all about color and Fydor Golan took it to the next level with their offbeat, troll-doll inspired hair looks. Created by hair stylist Johanna Cree Brown, the hair took on vibrant hues of pink, blue, yellow, coral and more. The show-stopping silhouettes ranged from Marie-Antoinette style heaped coiffures to punky liberty spikes; try these out next season if you’re bold enough.
Halpern
Halpern is known for its sequin-laden disco appeal and the beauty looks captured the heart of Michael Halpern’s namesake label. With the innovative Isamaya Ffrench leading the charge, we were treated to oversized, glittery black cat eyes that we’re eager to recreate ourselves. With such a statement eye, the rest of the hair and makeup was decidedly minimal although Marian Newman’s chic elongated stiletto nails made for the perfect accompaniment.
House of Holland
Euphoria has been inspiring us all to experiment with vibrant, glimmering makeup looks and it seems like designer Henry Holland and makeup artist Dominic Skinner have caught the bug too. Using MAC Cosmetics’ products, Skinner transformed the models into ’90s rave girls with holographic glitter in hues of violet, lime green and more was swept around their eyes with party nails by Laura Pink to match. Completing the look was Adam Reed‘s “Reluxe Wave” hair using a ghd soft curl tong.
Jamie Wei Huang
Jamie Wei Huang’s SS20 show followed the theme of “OCD,” and the feelings that arrive alongside the disorder. It seems fitting then that the hair, styled by Chiao Chenet, acted as an embodiment of what the designer described as “Tidal waves of thoughts, failures, faith moving towards a satisfying outcome.” The windswept hair looked like it had been frozen, captured at a tumultuous moment in time in varying states of disarray and whilst the impressive looks may not be that easy to replicate at home or subtle enough to wear on the daily, we presume that chic, dishevelled hairdos will be back.
Marques’Almeida
Makeup artist Terry Barberon fluctuated between bold and colorful lids and dark lips for Marques’Almeida’s SS20 production. Teamed with Roy Hayward‘s extreme side-swept hair, it made for the ultimate edgy beauty look, with elements that could easily make their way into your own spring/summer aesthetic.
