Apple's AirPods Max Headphones Have Officially Launched
Take a closer look at the over-the-ear product.
Apple‘s highly anticipated AirPods Max, an over-the-ear version of the tech giant’s wireless earbuds, have officially hit the market. The sleek, stainless-steel headphones arrive in five colorways mirroring the options available for the recently launched iPad Air: “Space Gray,” “Silver,” “Sky Blue,” “Green” and “Pink.”
AirPods Pro users will recognize the Max’s two sound options, Transparency Mode and Active Noise Cancellation. Of course, the AirPods Max also introduce several new features including soft mesh ear cups, adaptive EQ and a “Digital Crown” that allows users to adjust volume, skip between tracks and answer calls. Chargeable via lightening cable, the headphones boast up to 20 hours of audio, talk time or movie playback. When stored in an included Smart Case, the AirPods Max enter an “ultra-low-power state” to preserve charge.
Apple’s AirPods Max retail for $549 USD at the Apple website.
