
Prada to Give Away Medical Overalls and Masks to Healthcare Personnel
A request from the Tuscany Region.
Following its donation of six intensive care units to three of Milan‘s major hospitals, Prada has announced that it will be distributing 80,000 medical overalls and 110,000 masks in Italy due to the current coronavirus pandemic. According to Forbes, the country now has over 63,900 confirmed cases and over 6,000 devastating fatalities.
In a press release issued earlier today, the fashion house has already started production and will allocate the items to healthcare personnel, which was requested by the Tuscany Region. The production plan will provide daily deliveries which will all be completed by April 6. The articles are currently being made internally at the Prada factory in Montone, Italy.
