BLACKPINK Launches "How You Like That" Dance Cover Contest

Three teams will win a prize of ₩20 million KRW.

Following a year-long hiatus, BLACKPINK has recently made a comeback with their latest single “How You Like That,” which has surpassed 200 million streams on YouTube in less than two weeks. Continuing the craze, the K-pop group has released a choreography video accompanied by the announcement of an online dance cover contest.

Unlike the music video, the latest from the band shows the full dance sequence for the track, allowing fans to learn the choreography themselves. According to an official announcement on social media, anyone can enter the “HYLT” cover contest simply by filming a video, uploading it on YouTube with hashtags such as #HYLT_Dancecovercontest, and filling out a form online. Three teams will be chosen based on an equal balance between YouTube views and evaluation from YG Entertainment to win from a ₩20 million KRW (approximately $129,644 USD) prize pool.

Watch the full “HYLT” choreography video above. Fans can participate for a chance to win the dance cover contest until July 20, 11:59 p.m. KST (10:59 a.m. EST).
