K-Pop Group NewJeans Announces New Album, 'OMG'

Featuring a winter-themed track for their fans.

NewJeans, the buzzy K-pop quintet signed under HYBE sublabel ADOR, is set to make their comeback after their successful debut.

For those unfamiliar, NewJeans — comprised of Minji, Haerin, Hanni, Danielle and Hyein — was officially introduced to the world in August this year with four viral tracks: “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” “Hurt” and “Cookie.” In addition to their catchy music, the group has been loved for their Y2K-inspired aesthetic.

NewJeans took to their fan community platform Phoning to announce that they’ll be coming back soon with an album titled OMG. While not much is known as of writing, tracks that were initially considered for the New Jeans record will be making their debut through this release. One of the songs will be a winter-themed number dedicated to the group’s fans.

OMG is slated to launch on January 2, 2023, while a single will be pre-released on December 19.

Stay tuned as we learn more about NewJeans’ new album. While you’re here, check out all of the sneakers approved by the rookie K-pop act.
